BA Responsibilities

• Describe the key responsibilities of a Business Analyst
• Explain when a Business Analyst would be involved in a project.

Stakeholder mapping

• Identify potential stakeholders in a project/product context
• Tailor communication approaches for different stakeholder types

User research

• Describe different methods of user research and requirements gathering (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing)
• Explain the purpose and benefit of each user research

Communicating effectively

• Formulate and ask effective, open-ended questions during stakeholder interviews to uncover business needs and pain points.

SWOT Analysis

• Gather and summarise information about a business’s current business situation, for example with the help of SWOT analysis

User research

• Define document archaeology
• Compare basic techniques for data analysis (e.g., survey results, sales figures) as a means to identify potential business gaps or areas for improvement.
